Framed Motorbike Fairing
The effect is stunning as the brightly coloured fairing is in sharp relief against the neutral background and the mount card echoes the colours perfectly. We framed the certificate of provenance separately with a smaller white frame.
Kim and Matt Newing from JD Services (www.jdservicesltd.co.uk) in Bexley approached us to discuss the framing of a motorbike fairing for the boardroom of their local business.
The fairing is a Ducati side fairing from the 2003 Red Bull Renegade Ducati British Superbike Team and was used at a race meeting at Brands Hatch.
The fairing is secured with bolts to the backing board through the original bolts holes to ensure a good fixing.
We made up a very deep plywood box to accommodate the fairing, which sits behind the frame.
Kim and Matt decided on a chunky gloss white frame with white backing board and main mount board with a further 3 mounts cut to give a triple stack in the Red Bull colours.
