We have just framed this mixed media on canvas artwork.

We piece was framed in a dark wood, semi-traditional frame, with a linen “slip” between the painting and the frame.

Usually associated with traditional oil paintings, linen slips had been out of fashion for more contemporary pieces of artwork, but are making a strong comeback as contemporary works are being framed in more traditional styles and, as here compliment the painting very well.
