Sales Assistant

Skills Required:

Working with customers, helping them decide on their framing choices including suitable types of frames for their artwork, specialist glass choices, filling out forms, working with framing software, taking payments, tidying, filing, condition reporting, workshop maintenance, cleaning.


Workplace Experience Required:

Preferably to of had experience working in picture framing previously, but someone with retail experience who has an interest in the arts and a willingness to learn would be considered.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who can work with customers, with the ability to understand their needs and translate them into suitable framing options from the range of materials we work with. So a creative eye is essential.
We are looking for a part-time employee who will initially work 1 day per week (Saturdays), who would also be able to help cover staff holidays etc on other days.
Good clear communication skills and a good command of English is an absolute must, other duties will demand a tidy, organised person who is happy to help with other tasks around a busy workshop.
