Hiroshige Print

We have just framed this beautiful print by Japanese artist Hiroshige (1797 – 1858).

Our customer has been a collector of his work for years and the prints are hard to come by.

Hiroshige is best known for his horizontal-format landscape series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō.

Our customer chanced across this print whilst on holiday in France and seizing the chance, bought it immediately.

We framed it in a simple black, lacquered frame and an off-white mount. Simple but perfect!
