We have just framed this charming pet portrait in ink and watercolour … of a  gecko (Blizzard the lizard, get it?).

Not your usual pet, and certainly not one that you would expect to be commemorated with a portrait, but Blizzard the gecko must have been very special as the portrait was a present from a friend.

Our customer chose a simple black frame with a mount colour that compliments the watercolour. It is a simple illustration in a simple frame, but overall it works very well and is delightful.
